I'd say, the Confederate States were united in cause. They, many, were also among the original colonies and of the original Union.
He was, however, never a President of the Federally tyrannized Union states.

The article says that the guy was already on probation for a previous charge to do with explosives. Looks like he was just looking for a convenient excuse to blow something up.

You can't discriminate based on name... Name is tied closely to heritage /national heritage... If i told harumey matumbo that he couldn't work up front because a customer would get upset dealing with a name they didn't like, I'd be called racist until the cows came home

What was more F**K'D up is that the guy is Asian. Lee just happens to be the Korean version of 'Smith' here in the US. So the Left Side is actually is to blame for this double racism association.
But let one person from the Right make a statement about anything, "You are a racist" ....

"ESPN provoked controversy and mockery this week for pulling Robert Lee, an Asian-American sportscaster, from a college football game in Charlottesville, Virginia. But the company insists it made the decision out of concern for its employee’s well-being — and not because of political correctness."
