"smart" gun hacked by $15 magnet

Among other approaches, one of the first generation of "smart guns" has been hacked by a $15 magnet.

However these findings justify fears that gun owners have about complicated electronic platforms that are prone to failure or sabotage. _________________ If you vote for Biden you are voting to be murdered when he sends Beto to come take your "semi automatic assault weapon" (any semi auto). I dunno about first generation.
They've had various firearm enabling systems since the 70's. Originally it was a ring with a magnet, then with 4 magnets of alternating polarity that mated with reeds inside the grip. Nobody liked it. I can't believe any officer or police union would ever agree to it. _________________ NRA Endowment Member. How did they know my member was well endowed? |
