Looks like a good shoot, they waited till he shouldered the rifle.

Wonder if he was stealing dinghies too. Why else would you have three of them?

Police departments that have a border on large bodies of water have been issued retired navy submarines in that program to transfer .Mil assets to LEAs.
That would be cool.

Watching that is just amazing, and demonstrates the absolute heroism and professionalism of our men in uniform and gives me some comforts over the security of our harbor and areas.

We've got an IR drone hovering at 800 feet. And the LEOs showed extreme professionalism and marksmanship to fire only when the man raised the rifle. Then it was over in 1 second.

I also noted that the IR drone is marked "Armed." I wonder what weapon systems it carries?? Anyone know?

A crazy man, a terrorist, whatever. Good that they are out there protecting us.

The weapon system it carries is the sticker that says "Armed". It's a Psy-Op's weapon.

Background noise on the video along with heading/speed/altitude data on upper left indicate to me that the video was shot from a helicopter. Unlikely that it carried armament of any sort. Armed indication is probably for a rangefinder (laser).

It is the laser rangefinder / designator on FLIR and Wescam LE gimbal cameras. They make them for aircraft and UAS.
