You wouldn't think taking three days off without committing murder would be too much to ask. http://www.baltimoresun.com/news/maryla ... story.htmlBaltimore Group Plans Ceasefire Weekend, Urges ‘Nobody Kill Anybody’ For 72 Hours

I guess the 73rd hour might be a bit trouble-filled.

Ever been to Baltimore? They won't be able to wait 15 minutes let alone 3 days.

FYI: This is the plot to Barbershop 3. It didn't work in the movie, and with 600 people out of 621,000 signed up, I would be sceptical. It would be great if it worked though

Don't think just shooting someone really counts, only full blown homicides count. Never fear, it's only Saturday Afternoon.

From the article: Quote: “If we have a lot of events going on all over the city at all different times, it’ll deter anyone from getting violent,” Wharton said. “They’re going to be too busy having fun.” Deconstructing the thought process here, can't they just bus all the 'bangers out to Six Flags? It's only about 30 miles away and it's pretty fun. Probably cheaper than getting residents to foot the ER bills they've been racking up this year, too.
