I went to empty out PB to my computer. Hit download and watched the spinning arrow... and watched... In the end, nothing happened.
What did I do wrong?

But can you just link 1 pic without letting the public browse your other photos? I'd hate to have 2 accounts, one for guns and another for "other". E.g. I want to sell a blender online without everyone in my neighborhood knowing I have a gun collection. Actually, scratch that, where I live now EVERYONE has a gun collection.

I do anonymous uploads to Imgur. Yeah, I might never have access to them again but most of my pics aren't super-important. With anonymous uploads, there isn't any way to browse someone's account.

What did I do wrong? I had to try a few times. If the video ad in the pop up window plays then it's going to work. (Yes, even when you're trying to cut and run you have to watch an ad) After the little pop up window closes you'll get to the screen where you can actually download the album to your comp.

About 2 or 3 months ago there was a software change which made it faster but I have never seen anything asking for an annual fee with the exception of a few bucks for more storage... The only thing I use it for is Waguns because it's so damn slow!
