Hi all I was at Walden Creek Range today. I ran into a Warren and Dnr police first time in a year. The Warren asked that we do not put our signs on the trees. I could not switch the one left DoD not and my staple gun, asked to put on wood post only. I think some of the neighbors have complained about the bombs that some people where using, the thing's canals sells. I stop a few peoplefrom using them last summer the police officer reminding the whole range what aloud and not. Nice police officer. If anyone is near by that has staple gun can you move sign, our other one has been used a target. They have also shoot up a tree and almost cut thought it and the DNR sign. We don't want to use this site. Keep your eyes open on these bad people. Site is ok clean-up. Be careful of a brass hound that melts down brass she gets in line of fire is down range when hot takes your brass and the brass of others you have asked for since I am a reloaded. Range hot and she walk right up on wrong side of line when I was shooting my 30-06 last year I did not even see her scared the s----- out of me. I unsure how many of us use this site but we need to keep a eye on those how miss use it, like the police officer said don't want to close site, also the hours of shooting people are not obeying 9am to 6 pm. Well that's it, glad to be back been sick so have not be on or out shooting till today. Happy shooting to you all.

You must be talking about Waddell Creek? We were authorized to put the signs on the trees at the first cleanup, but then were asked in the future to not use nails or staples because the timber can be sold and lumber with metal in it makes the mill unhappy. So we started using ZIP Ties around the trees (chain them together to make a large tie).

I'll head out there and pull our signs, as we haven't been there in a while as a group. It sounds like DNR still needs more enforcement efforts in the area.

I think I was able to interpret what you said, but please go back in when you have a regular keyboard and edit this. Add a paragraph or two also.

I was just trying to update things out there since I be sick and first day back out. Just trying to be a good member. The sign what I could see was not zip tied the one that was on the 4 x 4 was gone. It was the Warren who asked me to move sign ok. Again it was English but I mess up some times sorry it brother you. No worries MSgt, I know several Marines who have suffered TBI and are learning to deal with it so I know what you're going through.
Just wanted to say "Thank you" for your service to our great country and for keeping us posted on Walden Creek.
