Seriously, why can't we all get along? Because we're dealing with a faction of people that doesn't want to get along. They're not interested in logic or civil debate. We can't make them listen. We just have to shed light on their radicalism and hope that enough people tune them out to the point that they become irrelevant.

The key is to be able to live with one another and respect one another. Before that happens, we need long open ended conversations to understand "them and us". Just a thought..

You're preaching to the choir. I'm open to talking with anyone to sort through the issues, provided we're both genuinely seeking the truth. But there are also things I will not compromise on, like my right to keep and bear arms. Anyone seeking to deny me that natural right is my sworn enemy. I will not trade natural rights away for anything.
