I'm trying to find some corner brackets or 'flat' brackets like the ones on this tube. Either I'm really tired today or Google just doesn't want to co-operate with me. What I need is the name of them so I can search better. Help please.

Another good source for tools, materials, hardware etc. etc. is MCMaster Carr. Some stuff is pricey but they have a huge selection of items. https://www.mcmaster.com/

And to your point about the search engines.
It's not just you. I have been finding all of them are pretty bad at times these days. You can tell who is paying them as you seem to get a lot of junk in with what you were actually looking for.

Search engines are only as good was what's put into them. So, you put the internet in, you get the internet out. We all know there's a lot of garbage on the internet. Now if someone comes up with a way to filter out the garbage better, then they will likely be bought by Google and can retire in style.

One thing that I do when I'm doing a search like this -- when I don't really know the right words to use -- is do an image search rather than a regular web search.
That way I can just scan a bunch of pictures, and when I see what I want (in this case, the right bracket) I'll go to the web page associated with that image and get the info I need.

That's how I got that picture but it kept coming up as a fishing rod holder, with no mention of the brackets/clamps/thingamabobs.
