The Zags made it!
It was the first WAC team to make the final 4 since 1957 (SF Dons).
Go Zags!
And to the frigging east coast announcers, one more time:
It is NOT GonZOGa

Yep, very cool, and good game Xavier coach had good things to say about the Zags on another channel after the game. Classy! Yeah, the pronunciation is annoying. Dealing with the how to say Oregon on the halftime show now.... Hey guys, it's NOT Ar-again....

Well, it's at least Ducks/Zags to the Final Four.
Good Oregon game. I kept waiting for Kansas to tie it up, but, man, Jordan Bell had a helluva game, controlling the paint & taking away Kansas' bread-n-butter of driving to the basket, then dishing for a three.

We could have won by 30 if we'd have made more free throws, but we made up for it with 3-pointers. Great game. GO ZAGS!

Wow the refs ruined that game. Called a foul or 2 or three at both ends of the court, ever play, for the first 10 minutes of the second half.

I was so hoping that Gonzaga would win. Was looking forward to the massive post game celebrations on the eastern prairies, with agri-thugs tipping cows hither and yon...

The way the zags started the second half, the writing was on the wall.

I got reeeeeaaaallly tired of hearing that damn whistle blow on nearly every possession. Let them play for cryin' out loud. I'm glad it was close, but I wish the game had more rhythm to it. The foul calls ruined it for me.
Karnowski couldn't buy a basket from anywhere on the floor - that was the difference in the game. He puts up a dozen points, Gonzaga wins by a narrow margin. Carolina just had more energy and took better control of the ball in the second half.

I was playing in a table tennis tournament yesterday evening and some nut job had a big screen tuned to the game. I was distracted by only one part- the double foul that let each guy shoot two free throws... Zag fella nailed his, NC missed both of his. I don't watch basketball, but from what little I know that seemed like a rare combination of mutual fouls.
