I understand about people posting up about close relatives passing away. I don't understand posting up about people that we have never even met? Like the people losing their mind over Princess Dianna, or Michael Jackson. I would be more saddened about MRC passing than Hayden.

I did meet him at the Daytona 200 when friends and I went in 2002. Nice ass dude talked with us for 10 minutes or so, he was down to earth and didnt have a cocky attitude or big head.

In this case I apologize. Please mention the personal connections in the future. I just don't understand the boo hoos for celebrities that we have never even got a signature from. I'm not callus, I just reserve my emotions for friends, and family.

So nobody in the course of your life has influenced or inspired you enough that you can take the time to have emotion for them - unless you have actually met them? No musician, no artist, no author, no athlete, no scientist or inventor.... nobody? If that were actually true I'd see it as a sad picture you paint of yourself! It sounds like "well if they aren't a part of my inner circle, what do I care?" I do get that way too many people are way too wrapped up in fanboy-ness, but I think you jumped the shark right out of the gate with this one. If your post had been on like page #5 instead of post #5, I might see your side at that point. By the way, where's your description of your personal connection to "MRC" to justify your concern for him over the other guy? (Hint: you don't owe me one, and nobody owes you one either)

Lifting your leg on an RIP thread is a douche move. Expecting people to "mention the personal connections in the future" just makes it worse. If I want to be bummed that someone I cheered for (and occasionally cheered against) has passed away, I'll damn well do it. Go to the "what pissed you off" thread and rant about it there if you're so perturbed. This isn't the right place.

I am free because I say I am. My freedom is not dependent on any government benefit or piece of legislation. My rights are inherent in the fact that I was born a sovereign being. They are non-negotiable. The government can list them and protect them, but my rights are not theirs to give away.

I don't see anybody losing their minds on here about any of the memorial threads, like ever? What I do see is people sharing events that have affected them in some way, in an attempt to have somebody else respond to their sharing, maybe by injecting their own thoughts, or how that event also affected them. It's called a conversation, and something that WaGuns not only allows, but encourages.
ETA- I would also be saddened by MRC's passing, and I hope that I never see a thread about it.

A British black and white show, from the '60's (later repeated on USA late night local TV and Channel 11 (independent)) and was a surprisingly good show.
Of course as a kid, I thought they all talked kind of weird.
