Hey SD congrats to your son on a successful climb of Mt Adams... Awesome sauce...

We've started on the same path with our grandson starting to teach him to ski, rock climb, shoot, and swim recently. It will be up to him to decide what he really likes to do, our job to introduce him to different activities and possibilities for him to pursue as he gets older. You never know how far your kids may go when you introduce them to a sport.

I tried searching this... was the excitable fellow who offered a chair to the police invited back to the station for some paperwork, a long visit and a cup of tea? I haven't found info... I hope that it led to a more intimate relationship with the police.

Not sure, the only info I have is that this incident occurred in Portland.

Not me in the photo but you are totally right. Taking it down as littering isn't cool and I shouldn't advocate it.

Also, do you pick up all the lead you litter when shooting? How about the shotgun wads?

lead is the most common element on the planet.....it comes from the ground....just sayin'

Iron. Lead is way down the list.

Sure, this is a fun beginner gunsmith project.
Detailed drawings are available for $5.99 + $3 postage. Drawings include materials list and cut list.
Plans are drawn to .22 LR scale, but scalable drawings from 17HMR to 50BMG are available for a small extra charge.
Builders who complete this fun project in 338 Lapua or 50BMG and test it themselves are eligible for a refund if request is written in their own handwriting.
