I ain't even mad do'....

Officer shoots 'charging' dog, misses, shoots his Sgt instead

:rofl9:

Quote:
The officer who discharged his weapon fired only one round, which “grazed” the dog, according to WABC, then ricocheting off a hallway wall according to police sources.

We asked the NYPD how a hollow point bullet like the once the department issues could have possibly ricocheted off a wall in the manner the officer described. They had no comment.

What they do claim is that the sergeant was hit by the bullet, which shot him in his foot, just by his big toe.

:ROFLMAO:

Know your target and what's beyond it. FAIL.

Funnier than shooting a poor dog that probably doesn't know the difference between HUMAN PLAY! and a cop who is programmed to shoot it.

Well when you put it that way.........

Yes..

J/K..

It's all about context....

Think 'Three Stooges'..

Officer goes to shoot dog, which was not aggressive but came towards him, SHOOTS at the dog at point blank range (it's an apartment complex) and misses, shooting his superior officer in the foot instead.. Meanwhile the officer claims that it was a ricochet that hit him, which, with the current ammo, and layout of the shooting (as explained), made it near impossible for the 'ricochet' to have occurred.

Yeah, I'd say that's F'in hilarious.

I can see the dog now...

Fucking hilarious... and there's no one to blame for their reputation but themselves.

Wonder when marksmanship will be a part of the NYPD training criteria?

When NYC has less people. The value of life in a city that huge is less than other parts of the country....just the reality of so many all together.

Probably when pigs fly. Can you imagine the bill for enough training ammo to teach them how to shoot accurately in a Department the size of NYC. 34,000 officers in NYPD. That's more than the population of a lot of Cities in the Country.

I just remember the great Manhattan shootout that occurred a couple of years ago. Dozens of shots at a "perp" and he was the ONLY one that wasn't hit.

It's not really funny, just an unfortunate joke.
