60+ year old lady was issued a new handicap placard, she inadvertantly used the old one and the city towed her car, charged her like $1800 in fines, and then added parking fines on top of that because handicapped people park free or some shit...

She wrote a letter to the court proving she had a valid permit, but they basically said 'tough shit'...cng she now has to appeal it..

My brother was in a motorcycle wreck in 1985. Quite a few years ago he wanted to go to a Sonics Game and had purchased tickets for me as well if'n Id take him. I loaded him in the car wheel chair and all and when we got to the handicap parking at Key Arena we found out that he grabbed an expired park placard......the parking attendant still wouldn't let me park in handicap.

I said serious? I have the chair and the guy that cant walk????

Street parking was all full as well. I ended up having to park down by the water and push his carcass up that(those) hill(s).

The attendant probably saved you from a $1800 ticket.

I have somehow become the favorite subject of a WA DOR tax auditor, after 7.5 hours of sitting in my shop proving to herself that I am conservative in my reporting (over paying when in doubt), she has decided to "help" me and expand the audit into the next year.
