I still have all my old '60s/70s Marantz gear. Classic stuff.
Same here.... 1st job out of high school in '78 I dropped $1,000 on some great components. I was making $7.50 an hour & took out a loan to get it ! Impressive in its day and it all resides in the garage & blasts away quite frequently ! I need a console for the shop.... anybody have one available?

hah! Beez...I'll see your Marantz... and raise you one complete set of Phase linear components, Bang and Olafson turntable and Bose 901's series III's. And a mountain of vinyl...
Oh...Phil do you think Mabel's dual cabinet Victrola with built in storage for her 78's will qualify here?

What was on Gramma Mabel's playlist? I remember Grandpa Joe not too fond of Pee Wee's AC/DC !

I have a 70's sansui receiver and some really good speakers that my dad bough in the early 90's. I'm looking for some bigger speakers from the 70's to refinish, I'm thinking of doing zebra wood veneer and colored acoustic cloth on the grills.
My parents have probably the same unit. Sansui brushed aluminum, late 70s or early 80s. Original speakers. That thing sounds awesome. Used to rock out to Thriller all the time on that stereo when I was a kid.

When I worked at a TV shop in the 70's we used to burn the old console TV's and stereos at my bosses house. I'm sure a lot found their end that way.........just too big to keep around.
As far as old 70's stereo gear, I have a couple.
SAE tuner-----Mark VIII Soundcraftsman amplifier-----5002 power amp Realistic direct drive turntable-----LAB-500 Tandberg cassette player-----TCD 340A Technics receiver------SA 956 Tandberg reel to reel 3 motor------Series 10XD Soundcraftsmen Preamp Equalizer-----PE2217 Advent Dolby cassette deck-------201 Sansui Stereo Receiver-----881 Vandersteen Speakers------Model 2 Advent Speakers-------Large Advent Cerwin Vega Speakers-----10" 3 way
Had a pair of Speakerlab 7's my brother gave me as an anniversary present. Four years later he said he needed them back as they belonged to his buddy who just got out of prison.
Also used to have a Technics direct drive turntable, a Sharp auto reverse tape deck, a Heathkit amp I built myself........ Lost them along the way......

I have a 70's vintage Magnavox that my wife loved. I've hauled it around the country as we moved but the next move will be to the curb with a big "FREE" sign on it. SOB weighs 250-300 lbs.

I got one passed down from my dad. I remember when he got it in probably 90-91. It wasnt the very top of the line, but from what I remember was a damn respectable unit. Its been moved way too much, and is big and an eye sore, but surr cranks out the tunes in my shop. My friends managed to hook up an aux cable to it to play their phones and such during beer pong matches or whatnot. Apparently I'm the only one in my generation still on CDs.
CD's and Keystone Light...
Huh, says someone who has listened to my sweet sweet tunes, drank my Keystone Light, and played at my beer pong table. Funny, didnt hear you complaining at the time.
Hey buddy, your keystones, beer pong and old-school audio goodies were just fine for me last time I was up in your neck of the woods.
