Not ever, even on a good day.......... Wow impressive... No way my creaky ass middle age knee cartilage could hold up to that, not even anywhere close.

Not ever, even on a good day.......... Nut up, old man! My best bench ever was 360 in like 1983/4. @ Golds in UP. 6lb shy of my goal. I was pissed because I really wanted to press double my weight which at the time was 183. It was a Gym Rat thing. At the time the stat was .001 of 1% of the population could bench their weight X2. I never squatted well..... 225 one rep. on a good day. Dude I got's no legs. And I wasn't a Juicer.

245lbs 4 reps No problem. 245 / 4 = 61.25 x 4... No problem.

I think you're more buff than me and I was doing multiple reps of 300 in the squat rack just two years ago. You can get it.

Listen, youngster (my neighbor, some 12 or 14 years my senior and in very good shape, told this to me) when you get to a certain age, your Brain and your MUSCLES tell you you can still do it... it's the cartlidge and ligaments which protest. I didn't believe him - back then.... Wear and tear on the suspension.... EDIT: can we get a loudmouth old geezer emoji, plz?

Do you even lift, bro? Yep up to about 35 a exercise starts with a warm up. Swimming, lifting ...whatever. From 35 to like 48 you stretch before you exercise....no warm up just get the muscles stretched out a bit. After 48 you just go for it.....no sense blowing a tendon doing something silly like warm up or stretch. Its a better story when someone asks what happened and you can tell them you pulled a hammy 4 miles into a Iron Man marathon then explaining you tore an Achilles stretching before the Starter pistol.

I already know you lift. I was talking to my other friend Jim, Jim.

Sir. I have lifted since the early 80's and have had an olympic weight set/bench and etc at my own home since the early 90's
Of late, my years are starting to kick me in the @$$ and I have to really push myself to do it. (and have a nap afterwards!)
Ask Sinus how many push ups Ron and I do before taking the bench to shoot.
