The basic material is not that spendy, but it's the labor and warranty that rocket that up. If you have a couple of handy friends or sons the basic roof is not that difficult to put up. I have built 5 metal buildings, put metal on the roof of 4 of them for speed and maintenance reasons.

What made my day?
Hearing of the Al Franken shitstorm. Never liked that creepy bastard.
May a thousand Huevos forever rest upon his forehead.

Pablo wrote: Why the hell are steel roofs so expensive? Because they are worth it. Kinda like divorces. Mine cost almost double. Asphalt is was 9k metal 17k. Only down fall is you can’t do anything on it when it’s raining. Absolutely love it. Zero maintenance, mildew, Moss.

Thanks on the steel roof input! I finished my 3rd full week of weight (and aerobic) training. My wife has noticed for sure. I feel way leaner and the muscles feel stronger. Nothing scientific and weight is about the same, but my mental clarity, mood and disposition are great - enough to make my day!

Picked up a new rear bumper and used rear differential cover for really cheap. The bumper I needed. The diff cover so I can clean n paint myself and when I have the fluids changed, it's ready to go.
