Got a job offer from a company in Spokane.. Had a realtor come out on Monday to assess my house, if I were to list it now she thinks I could walk away with $290k in my pocket which wouldn't be a bad thing Positives: $30k more a year than what I make now, less travel, good benefits, willing to pay $5k for a move, houses are CHEAP. Looking at this one: https://www.zillow.com/homes/for_sale/h ... rect/9_zm/Negatives: Timing, not so desirable school district, convincing both sets of Grandparent's that moving their only Grandkid away is a good thing is like pulling teeth.

Private gun range and a nice house. Awesome

You could probably solve that by threatening to actually pull some teeth. Just sayin.....

Congrats on the offer LOG!!! That's a huge bump in pay, awesome It's a tough go moving away from family. Raises some challenges especially if they have been helping take care of the kids. Though the drive's not too bad at around 5 hours, bit of a haul but nothing too brutal. Good luck on your decision. Always feels good to have a solid job offer in the vest pocket.

Kinda came out of nowhere, a recruiter sent me an email from LinkedIn a few weeks ago and wanted to gauge my interest. I told him I really wasn't ready to move out of the area but he asked for me to at least hear him out.. Well here I am, bleh.. I got some chatting to do this weekend.
