Or breast feeds at the gun counter, or passes out at the gun counter, or pisses himself while trying to buy guns with a shopping cart filled with stolen merchandise, or or or............

Logistic and Inventory Management pays well and has been good to me over the past 12 years, but I need a change..

So keyed... I've got a sink hole in my driveway that I've been dealing with for about the last 8 years.... I keep throwing gravel and sand in it but it still keeps settling... realized a while ago that I need to reform the hardpan so that the water runs off instead of soaking down (low spot) - been trying to find some clay to throw in it....

There is a new construction site that is carving out the hillside and I noticed a beautiful vein of clay being exposed... decided to stop bye yesterday to ask if they mind if I bring my trailer in and shovel 1/2 a yard out .... the foreman asks how quick I could be back with my trailer - says he'd be happy to load it for me!!!! Damn if he didn't have the backhoe swap out buckets and drive across the site to fill my trailer --- saved me a whole lot of shoveling wet heavy clay (really good stuff - just what I need). Never expected they would be so accommodating.

Now comes the hard part of scraping the rock and sand back out of the hole so I can replace it with clay....

I met an 30 year Boeing retiree named Frank. He had a Baldor buffing wheel for sale that I've been looking for. The first thing I noticed in his shop was a cup of elk ivories. He told me about his years at Boeing, his former business of knife making, the tools he made for knife making, his early 1900's Craftsman lathe, his ventures into gunsmithing. He's a cool guy and I think just made a new friend.

And of course the wheel.

I also got to chat with WesLA for a while too. It sure is nice to have good people around to to do business with.

Went golfing yesterday for the first time in years. Had a blast. The people I was with were equally as bad so that made for an interesting night. Lots of beers were consumed too. Although now I'm finding muscles I didn't know were getting lazy.

Got tomorrow's pay stub in the email, showed and extra $1100 on it so I called HR. Looks like they had me at the wrong rate for L&I and it's a refund of overpayment. :thumbsup2:
