Fuck. Went shooting this morning because it was an awesome morning. Then I get this failure to extract. Then I can get this out. Broke two wooden dowels trying to push it out, then needle nose pliers to try and pull it out. No dice. That motherfucker is wedged in there good. Anyone have any ideas? I guess 223 wylde doesn’t like Russian 223 :/ Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Ugh, thanks guys. I’ll take a look in the morning. I tried needle nose vise grips but it didn’t budge. I’ll check out the kroil and a stiffer rod. Thanks

Perhaps a large freezer and freezing it would contact the metals just enough to get it loose?

I was going to say heat. Warm it up to expand the chamber.
Maybe too much lacquer built up.

laneends wrote: I don't know about the other boats conditions. Well I do know the ocean phoenix is scary to look at, but it was built in the 1940's. Our boat is turning 46 years old this year, and as one of the engineers I can say rust is a constant battle. Every shipyard we have to cut some part of her out and weld in new steel. The ocean isn't very forgiving. We still manage to keep her above water and freeze 150 tons a day. Not exactly excited for the upcoming ammonia conversion. Rust is on all of them. The Ocean Phoenix, she was built in the 60s. Converted for fishing later on. Still rocking the big steam turbine. 22,000 horsepower. That old girl will be floating long after many are gone. I took my post off your boats propaganda page. It was a joke. hahaha I won't say what Trident boat but many will remember the rudder room that literally would fill up with water from a Spouting Horn style waterspout every time she leaned to port in the trough. 3 days of being in the trough and listening to false alarms. Then the pumps quit. That was a good time.

SeaTac Airport.....2 Hour Delay.
At 12:30 today.
Not to land; my wife's plane landed early, at 12:39 pm. She's home, great!
Then, they sat on the runway FOR TWO HOURS, while they de-iced a plane that was in their spot to disembark from......
