Hillary phoned the president's office shortly after midnight. I need to talk to the president, it's an emergency! exclaimed Hillary.

After some cajoling, the president's assistant agreed to wake him up. what is it that's so important that it can't wait until morning? grumbled Trump.
A Supreme Court Judge just died, and I want to take his place, begged Hillary

Well, it's OK with me if it's OK with the mortuary, replied President Trump. :thumbsup2:

If Trump did appoint Hillary to ANYTHING we'd definitely know he'd lost his marbles.

I read the 1950's version to my son who just turned 10. He answered correctly after 4 seconds of thinking. Yay - we're teaching him well!

One thing to note, in 1950 a load of timber might have sold for $100 and the logger actually made $20.

Today the truckload of timber may sell for $10,000 but the logger still only makes $20 after all licenses, fees, taxes, regulations, etc, laid on him by the Government. Then he still has to pay tax on the $20 that he calls "income". :blackcloud1:

I knew a displaced logger around Quillicine in the 80's.....had a $$$ grant for building large bird houses for California Condors around the Olympic Peninsula.
Asked him if it was hard getting the houses to the tops of the trees.
He said it didn't really matter because there hasn't been a California Condor spotted in WA since 1897.
