Is there an injunction on the magazine ban?

Sun Mar 10, 2024 6:39 pm

I've seen multiple people mention an injunction (or injection depending on the thread), that starts tomorrow in for sale posts for magazines and a couple of pistols.

Did I miss something? Has the >10 round magazine ban been / about to be lifted?

Goes before the court tomorrow. Injunction expected with swift follow up by Turd Ferguson. Act quickly!

Do you honestly think and vendor is going to honor/sell mags even if an injunction is put in place?

Most vendors are too chicken to even sell exiting legal items to WA residents as it is.

Some will, and they will make quite a good profit for the day

There were a ton of online retailers that sold to CA when they had their one week injunction. Lots of stuff got sold!

Hypothetically where does someone advertise $90 pmags?

Everywhere, it was literally everywhere last time we went though a panic.

Is the juice worth the squeeze?

Dealers in our state could be subject to investigation based on easily obtained evidence when/if they start publicizing their available stock of magazines that go against furgy's wishes. Furthermore, Furg's office has attempted to compel at least one major distributor to provide them records of sales to dealers in our state for all so called assault weapons sold to them during a certain period of time.

Just saw this on twatter from WA gun law:

Gators Guns Cowlitz County Update: Court has heard arguments and taken the matter under advisement. Ruling expected in the next two weeks, maybe sooner. Video out in a bit.

So no injunction just yet

You mean a federal panic. It would be PR suicide for a retailer to sell $100 pmags to WA while mags are selling for normal prices to other free states. As someone brought up earlier, good luck getting a vendor (not all) to recognize an injunction and making an exception to their existing business policies on not selling to WA residents.
