When the "recoil impulse" is equal to your wife tapping you on the shoulder and it affects your accuracy off the bench (or any situation) with .223 or 5.56?

Yeah, you need to man the fuck up.

Now if some dumbass has a Muzzle brake on said caliber next to you on the range? Ask him nicely where his balls are. Probably in his wife's purse after she tapped him on the shoulder.

"Recoil" and .223/5.56 don't go together. that's an excuse for poor shooting.

I’m not on board with this comparison.

My wife taps me on the shoulder means I didn’t see her coming. 33% chance or less this ends well(ish). Seriously wife tap puts me through the ceiling.

I’m possibly busy:

1. Looking at porn - instant doghouse with months of “you want me to look like those girls, huh?”

2. On the payment screen to buy next gun/accessory - grumpy wife, no sex for 3 days minimum “Is that really what we should be spending money on?”

3. Harmlessly browsing random site/social media - minimal grumpy, still elicits bitchy response “you’re on your phone too much”

4. Ordering a gift for wife.0001% likelihood - somehow still angry “stop wasting money on things we don’t need”

Blah blah blah. The only felt recoil that's good is when wifey "pushes back" a little. :thumbsup2:

All this macho posturing is amusing. I'm not the only one who observed this '"phenomena".

". Braking a small-bore rifle isn't a comfort issue, it's all about accuracy. A well-controlled muzzle will yield very nice performance downrange. "

Old11Bravo (member-in-hiding) had a brake on his AR he swore by. Impulse was minimal and purely linear. Was a dream to shoot.

This whole recoil discussion is a tangent. You never addressed my response breaking down how that buffer system actually works.

I have Ron’s favorite brake in my safe. Will let you know what it was when I get a chance to check. Personally, I repped the thunder technologies heart brake. Incredibly effective recoil impulse control and stupidly flat shooting.

Shame they went out of business

LoL
Chest puffing and dick measuring.
Shooting a comp'd or braked AR side by side with a standard birdcage or target crown model will tell you there's a difference.
If I can suppress it, I will. If I can't suppress it, I'll comp it or brake it.
If I can't do any of the above (target crowned barrel) then it's a bench gun anyway.

Dry fire ( not Rick Roll) practice. The "CoolFire" system.

A Co2 charged system that is used in your edc, resets the trigger. Slide operates providing recoil input.
