Milley will undoubtedly use his proven strategy, stockpile tons of equipment at various depots and bases, work with locals to fortify the defences, and then pull out in the middle of the night without any notice to our allies and leave them out to dry and allow our enemies to inherit our stockpiles without a shot fired. Lastly we will conduct a surrender peace talks, and call it a victory

IF we are dumb enough to escalate this to a shooting war, bare minimum china will take taiwan and we will outright give it up

I seriously wanna email Putin or the embassy and be like 'sorry our president is a fucking idiot, let's focus on what we have in common instead of what makes us different... We all want peace.'

Media asked Biden for proof of claims about Russia's imminent invasion and supposed false flag plans.

Biden admin literally says 'trust us' and refuses to give proof. This from the party that said after Iraq they'd never support another military action that didn't show the proof FIRST... hilarious.
https://www.seattletimes.com/nation-wor ... tion-says/

Quote:
WASHINGTON (AP) — When President Biden’s administration was asked for evidence to back up dramatic claims about national security developments this past week, it demurred with a simple rejoinder: You’ll have to trust us on that.

No, they would not reveal what led them to say they knew that Russia was plotting a false flag operation as a pretext to invade Ukraine. No, they would not explain their confidence that civilian casualties were caused by a suicide bombing rather than U.S. special forces during a raid in Syria.

The administration’s response took a particularly caustic turn as spokespeople suggested that reporters were buying into foreign propaganda by even asking such questions.

Price similarly sparred with a reporter at a State Department briefing on Thursday after U.S. officials said Russia was preparing a “false flag” operation as the opening act for an invasion of Ukraine. The alleged scheme included a staged explosion and enlisting actors to portray people mourning the dead.

“Where is the declassified information?” asked Matthew Lee of The Associated Press.

“I just delivered it,” Price said.

“No, you made a series of allegations,” Lee responded.

The fiasco in Afghanistan is only a foretaste of things to come. And we should be more reserved when it comes to praising Ukraine’s fighting spirit; for Ukraine has not mobilized her reserves, which may well signal that Kiev’s is ripe for a new union treaty with Moscow. Setting aside Zelensky’s “statesmanlike” unreadiness for war — what valiant name shall we give NATO’s unwillingness to mobilize man for man what Russia has been mobilizing? What accounts for America’s unwillingness to match China and Russia as we fall further and further behind? Is the received wisdom of today, in every crisis, to balk mobilization as alarmist? But then, with regard to Russia, complacency has long been considered a virtue even as underestimating Moscow is been accounted wise.

Our nuclear arsenal is increasingly out of date, and will be past it's service life in a few years, what implications does this pose?

What about our military supply line and its dependence on China?

Has NATO maintained its military readiness from the Cold War years? Remember they were even lagging behind even back then?

Do we have a counter to Russian, Chinese and even North Korean hypersonic weapons?

Have the COVID shots weakened our already demoralized and weak military?

From a Cold Warrior perspective, could you ever envision a time where a Russian leader was held up in such high regard?

Could the larger issue be the disengagement of the dollar by first Russia, then China? (Well we would cut them out of the SWIFT network if we disagreed with them, what were we thinking?)

Could the steel cables that bind Russia and China be our undoing?

If we are primarily focused on Ukraine, which is a vary logistically challenged country, and would take an extraordinary effort on our part to execute, would China, Iran, North Korea have a free reign elsewhere?

What about the strategic products we purchase from Russia to include fuel, titanium?

https://www.jsmineset.com/2022/02/01/a-swift-ending/

SWIFT is the U.S. clearing system for payments, both internally and globally. To this point in time, the entire world has relied on SWIFT to settle the vast majority of trade and transfer payments. It was created, administered, and controlled by the U.S. since 1973 (same year as the “petrodollar” was launched) and stands for Society for Worldwide Interbank Financial Communication.

A few years back, Washington began making threats versus Russia that they would be sanctioned and cut off from SWIFT. We said at the time and still maintain to this day that using SWIFT as a threat against Russia (or any nation for that matter) was a grave error. We posited that threatening Russia with a cutoff from SWIFT would force them to create their own system which would ultimately attract other trade partners as users. It seems this is exactly what has happened, yet no one in Congress seems to know? I say this because they now discuss “the mother” of all sanctions against Russia.

The Scott Ritter piece he referenced:
https://alethonews.com/2022/02/04/a-war ... perienced/

Don’t take my word for it. In 2016, then-Lieutenant General H.R. McMaster, when speaking about the results of a study – the Russia New Generation Warfare – he had initiated in 2015 to examine lessons learned from the fighting in eastern Ukraine, told an audience at the Center for Strategic and International Studies in Washington that the Russians have superior artillery firepower, better combat vehicles, and have learned sophisticated use of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) for tactical effect. “Should US forces find themselves in a land war with Russia,” McMaster said, “they would be in for a rude, cold awakening.”

I read that Maj Gen Chris Donahue is in Poland to support the NATO response to Russia, should we be worried?
