U.N. considers spraying the atmosphere with sulfates to combat global warming...
but sulfates reduce rain fall?.... and are often synthetic and made with... The University of WA is participating in the CAARE Project (Coastal Atmospheric Aerosol Research and Engagement).
But even with such a benevolent sounding name, researchers fear backlash from the general public and have launched the experiment without announcement or public engagement (despite engagement being in its name?) Don't you love when megalomaniacal assholes do things in your name for your own good, without your permission or even awareness. These guys and Tony FauXi have turned me into an even more strident Luddite. My only consolation is that this is further proof that this all not just some far-fetched conspiracy theory but rather yet another misdeed by arrogant power drunk criminals occupying positions in the government. we are responsible for some, but if you add 5% to something over a long period of time then it will throw shit off balance.
Sulfates reflect photons rather than absorb them (the pi and sigma bonds of CO2, CH4, C2H6 ect). Its a complex system. Surface water temps are way higher than they have been and the Co2 dissolved in the oceans is way up, enough to cause Sonar recalibrations. |
