The tent allowed the patrons to spread out and have some distance between them. Here in Union Gap we have Gene's Cottage Inn and they did the same thing and their heavy tent is staying up. In the case of Andys Fish House it is clear to me that someone is jerking them around. I would not be surprised if it was a competing business that has a hand in it. It also could be that the permitting department does not have staff competent enough and with an engineering degree to evaluate the structure and they do not want that knowledge public knowledge. When Knapp Construction was still a business we had inspectors on sites that did not understand a simple thing such as lumber grading.
