Am I the only one that is not able to read old threads?
Specifically I was looking for the Blackhawk Flashlight deal that was a month or 2 ago. Someone posted links about replacement units and I wanted to check it out. Unfortunately I wasn't able to find the thread. I Google'd it and found it but it says I am not authorized to read the forum.

It's because the thread was trashed.

Link in the thread was this.
http://www.dx.com/p/16mm-cree-xp-g-r5-2 ... SShe4ZHbCQ

I get it.

Thanks for providing the link.

Is there a way we can have an "archive" kinda how ARFCOM or M4Carbine does? Or is that too much $$$?

Generally speaking, we don't delete threads*; this means that EVERYTHING is searchable.

* Exceptions are, of course:

- Sold threads
- "Deals" threads that expire
- Threads that go sideways.

The particular thread you were looking for is a deals thread, and the OP marked it to "delete" because it was presumably expired.

Go to Google
Type
Code:
site:waguns.org [insert search terms here]

Boolean search helps a lot.... example

Code:
site:waguns.org h2obouget and Zastava the m77
= should return posts where any of the terms: H2obouget, Zastava, M77, and, the - appear. This is a lot of hits as it will return all of my posts, posts that have the word Zastava, posts that have the word M77, and of course because of the commonality of 'and' and 'the'.
Instead use
Code:
site:waguns.org "h2obouget" + Zastava" + "M77"
= Now we will only get threads that include "H2obouget", "Zastava", and "M77" in the thread.

Similarly, you can use a (-) to eliminate a term.
Code:
site:waguns.org "zastava" + "h2obouget" - "m77"

This will return all posts where I mentioned 'Zastava', but specifically not return any posts I mentioned 'M77'. Very helpful if you are looking for something about say, "Glock", but you know it wasn't about a "9mm"....site:waguns.org "glock" - "9mm"

I'm having flashbacks to my computer science class. It made my head spin.
