Is there anyway to allow members to stay logged into the site, even if they are idle or away from the computer for an hour or more?
I've checked the settings in the User Control Panel, but I don't see any option to extend the auto-logout timer.

It shouldn't log you out. Is this a new thing since the site move, or has it been happening for a while? The cookies that this site issue are good for I think 60 hours, so your session will only expire if you are inactive for 60 hours. Another thing to look at is your browser. If you have it set to clear cookies etc upon close, then that will essentially log you out, since you are deleting your site issued session cookie.
Also, if you are using the VPS backdoor, your cookies will only be good for 30 minutes.

It wasn't a problem until about a week or two ago. I am using Google Chrome. I'll give it a try on Firefox and see if it's just me. Thanks for the quick reply!

Are you using the chat window? When I have the chat window open, I get logged out periodically.

I think it may have something to do with the Tapatalk app. Since the issue is on my side, I'll continue to troubleshoot. Thanks again for the support. Another reason why this place is great.

If you are using both TTalk and a computer browser, especially on the same router, it can cause a cookie issue. Same as using 2 different computers in the same household.

It's closer to 60 minutes than it is to 60 hours. During my newbie training phase (reading a lot of old posts), I try to keep WAGuns active in one tab of Firefox all day, but if I get called away or take a nap (!), I get bumped back to the login screen when I do try to use the site again.

Can the "session" be lengthened, then?
