Yhea, 99% of the stalling that ever occurs is waiting for Adsense to load their ads.... I'll bring this up with Steve.
Another common issue is conflicting cookies. What you can do is go back to the home page and scroll to the bottom and look for the "Delete all Site Cookies" or something like that. That can improve performance a lot too.
I'll start a log now and come back after my MRI and play with the db a little as needed too.

I've noticed that when I'm connected to my Comcast home network, the site runs really slowly, if at all. This is with both my phone using Tapatalk and with my PC using any browser.
But when I disconnect my phone from my network and go over the cell network, it runs just fine.

But when I disconnect my phone from my network and go over the cell network, it runs just fine. I have the same issue being a comcast user. I have tried 3 different browsers, both here and at work and here at home is definitely the slowest using comcast for internet. I cleared cookies at both locations. I get minor lag at work, a few seconds here and there, but home via comcast BLEH!!. I can do a speed test and pull 50mbpsDL and 12mbpsUL so I know the connection to the net is good. It is something maybe with comcast ->waguns servers..? Wagun chat is absolutely unusable here at home. every 3-5 seconds it locks for 20 seconds. Waguns Pages are slow loading too. All other websites I go to load fast, no issues. I will see about tethering thru my cell later tonight and see how that does.

Did a little testing. switched my laptop to use Wifi hotspot on my phone which runs ATT thru Dan... HUGE improvement in page response and it made it so chat was usable. still little lags, but they only last a couple seconds, not 20. Forum page loading was instant rather than 10sec+ delays changing pages.
I think it is something between comcast servers and waguns server losing packets or the like. Other forums I got to are instant open using comcast.

I have comcast at home, and at work, and AT&T for cellular and have never had a lag that was the internet's problem. It's really odd... The only thing I can think of is to eradicate your computer of anything WaGuns, clear all cookies, bookmarks, cache etc and start fresh. You may have multiple cookies that are messing with the sessions. Also, next time it is giving you an issue, do me a favor and try it though www.designbyothers.com this is a backdoor to the site that runs the entire site as a frame INSIDE the designbyothers domain.

How do I eradicate cookies from Tapatalk? That's how I mainly access the site and find it slow.

I get the same behavior on the mobile site. So basically I have been just turning off my phone's Wi-Fi when I want to read WaGuns and forget about reading it in my PC and tablet.
There are definitely some gremlins afoot somewhere...
