Just FYI. We are playing around with some different banners for the home page. There may be a glitch here or there, but any issues will get fixed asap.

I was wondering what was going on.

I figured I probably just got a virus looking at porn while waiting for WGO to load....

This is what happens when you get engineer types in charge...always gotta be playing with something that works just fine already. :bonghit:

The scrotum shot was inappropriate. Just a little bit.

Oh, good, was just going to whine about having to scroll horizontally all of a sudden.

Do you have to now? This is something I want to avoid users having to do when their screen/window is maximized.

Yes, I've still got to scroll. Firefox on Ubuntu if that's helpful. Got about 1-1/4" of scroll bar or so on a 15" screen. But I've got tons of unneccessary emoticons that you could get rid of to the left of the screen. That'd give you back about 3" of space. As you might have guessed, I don't have much use for them. You could also dump the font colors on the right side.

FF & Ubuntu don't make a difference. Resolution, overall screen size and browser magnification (ALT+/-) do make the difference though.

You mentioned the font colors and the smileys. Well, unfortunately you cannot turn those off, and others do use them often. You can use the "Quick Reply" button though, which will drop down a basic text box at the bottom.

When on the homescreen, you need to scroll as well? Have you always had to scroll or is this a new issue as of recently. I tested the site around launch time with a multitude of different screens and browsers to make sure all was well. I want to make sure that is still the case.

What's with the black brick under the 'Donate' icon?

Yes, still have to scroll horizontally. Or at least did when I went to bed last night around 11:00 or so.
