Some of you may, or may not have noticed, a small addition this evening. We have added a Junior Member group for those members who are under the age of 18.

At first, we (mods and admins) were quite shocked to hear that a minor was among us. We could have just banned him, but realized that this isn't what WaGuns is about. Just because a person is underage, it doesn't mean that they can't share the same passion towards these inanimate objects as we do.

So, the "Junior Member" group was born. These members are not allowed to engage in commerce for firearms. Ammo and accessories thus far are permitted as is full access to the rest of the forums (except NSFW, they are locked out of that).

Please help us by helping them continue to learn and grow in this sport.

I think this is a great idea. Props to the Admins/Mods for making this a great place for Everyone. I was pretty sure that Drew was underage anyway though.

Good call. We need to focus more on our youth and having them be a part of this site is a good start.

can we have a section where they are listed (so they know who else is in their group) and we can also know to treat them appropriately (in a good way).. I know lots of people here don't mind teaching when appropriate..

or did I miss the memo and this is already there..

The group will have it's own designated color.

I approve of this and do welcome them to learn and grow into the realm. Do remember reading there are a few new guys but forgot who the are now. make em a green color or have another group poll.

Look at the bottom of the homepage, where it shows all the people online. Groups are listed on the bottom of that, as well as shown by different colors, like TA mentioned.

Currently, the group has black lettering: memberlist.php?mode=group&g=15 because we wanted to make it pop in comparison to the pastel'ish member colors we have now.

They also have a tag line under their username that says "Junior Member". I know a lot of people surf via tapatalk as well as the mobile site, both of which won't show these color changes. Hence why this thread was made.

Honesty and integrity...That's about all I can see.

Mostly we rely on the camera that's embedded into the upper advertising block. As we get more and more members, though, it's taking a lot more time to monitor everyone. We may be looking to hire some more moderators here soon.

So that's why Dan keeps sending me flowers and candy. On days I go topless.
