Tapatalk no longer working?

For the past few days, when I've tried to post a reply to any thread using tapatalk, I just get a pop-up trying to get me to buy a subscription to their app. Is anyone else having a similar problem?

Tried reinstalling an older version, it's working now. Weird.

We stopped supporting tapatalk quite a few years ago and haven't updated their package on this site in a loooong time. They continually wanted more and more access to the site and basically wanted us to remove moderation and administration control.. Um.. nope. So we just stopped updating and it kept on working here with the old patches.

Eventually, it's going to go away. Many forums are ditching TT as they have continued their over reach and poor ad placement.

I dont know why but with what Dan just posted I would be willing to bet that is what happened.

Funny, I saw a bunch of posts a few months back about a number of forums that were no longer supporting Tapatalk. I wonder who dumped who? I'm guessing that TT was the dumpee.

Im not sure who the dumpee is BUT my first thought was “they are an anti company and booting 2A forums” but other 2A forums are still gtg…
