This is a Brother MFC-9840CDW wireless color laser multi-function machine. You can see all of the details at the Amazon page:
https://www.amazon.com/Brother-MFC-9840CDW-Laser-Multifunction-Center/dp/B000VLDQQ8/Basically, it will print, copy, scan, and fax.
I bought this recently, and it was used when I bought it. Basically, it will do a hell of a lot but here are the issues:
- I don't have the admin password to get into the programming of it. I thought this was going to be an issue, but so far it hasn't been for me; I was still able to set it up to wirelessly scan and print without any issues. For general home use, I don't think it's a problem.
- I'm having some print-quality issues with it. Sometimes text comes out a little blurry, sometimes it's crystal-clear. Sometimes the colors are a little off, sometimes they're not. Sometimes it prints blank pages; sometimes it works just fine.
Maybe this just means it needs some more cleaning in the right areas. Maybe it means that it's time for some of the components to be replaced. I don't know, and I've decided that I don't want to deal with it myself.
Here's what I have:
1) The printer itself, with power cord.
2) The manual.
3) Some extra toner.
It's all yours for the price of FREE if you want it. Like I said, it's working now but print quality is sporadic and I just don't want to troubleshoot it any more myself.
Pick up in Renton. If you haven't had a laser printer before, be advised that they're heavy mofos . . . this thing is probably just under 100 pounds.
