For those of you that haven't seen my thread on learning to hot blue guns, see it here: viewtopic.php?f=26&t=1187

I need to do another run at the end of next month (around Thanksgiving). So I decided I would donate my services to one lucky WAGUN'r who needs their gun re-blued.

Here are the rules.

1. You prep the gun, that means: you degrease, disassemble strip the old bluing and rust
2. You sand/polish the gun to the level of shine you want (I can help with advice if needed)
3. You transport the gun
4. I cannot hot blue screws, very small parts or anything that is not carbon steel, this includes double barrel shotguns or any gun with soldered parts (they don't survive the hot salts)

That is it. just reply with "I'm in" and a description of the gun you need blued

I will randomly pick a winner on the 19th of October

A hot dip blue job... interesting and painful sounding at the same time.

Never mind.

I thought bluing job was a euphemism.
