Hey all, recently my family received some free school supplies from Operation: Homefront. They are a truly wonderful group of people and I make sure to donate to them at least once a year because of the great things they do for military families.

Well, I have quite a bit of extra supplies from the two previous years that Just didn't find a use from my oldest during the school year.

If you have school-aged kids and are perhaps struggling to make ends meet and need some school supplies then write me a private message.

There's no need to write in the main thread or leave feedback if you don't want to put your own business on the street I understand completely.

I have two backpacks and each will have the following in there:

#2 pencils
Ball point pens
Highlighter
Packs of erasers
Post-it notes
Calculator

And one or the other will have a pack of crayons and some other assorted things.

One backpack is a girl style pack (black with flower designs and pink trim) and one is red and grey (maybe more suitable for a boy's tastes)

This is on the honor system, please don't grab this stuff if you don't need it, because I know there is probably someone who really does.

I'll meet FTF within a reasonable distance from Fort Lewis. Can't ship, sorry.

Hope someone can use this stuff, we love our children and they deserve to be properly equipped for school.

Wanted to say that was very nice of you.
I would have never realized there was a real problem with basic school supplies and even luch/meals in the school systems.
My Son told me that there are students at his school that do struggle with lunches and oftern reuse school suples or try to use them even after they are worn out.

Just wanted to say this is very kind of you. I've seen first hand how thankful kids are when they aren't as lucky as others to have school supplies every year.

It`s kinda sad to hear that, but also a kinda nice, assuming people with kids have read this, it says they`re well-supplied as school is just now starting up. WGO should have some sort of karma system.

So a board member reached out and offered to donate this to a church group he is affiliated with who supply low income and homeless children with school supplies and I accepted, so thanks to that person!

Hope it goes to some kids who could use it... Mods feel free to lock this thread at your will.
