Welcome. Thank you for your service. Please post some pictures and some blather on what you are doing to the Mosin - I have a donor that would make a good test bed for upgrading, and have been looking for ideas. Thanks !

Glad to see that another site started. I feel that once SGN started charging to post. Around half the sellers, which are the best buyers left. So no more awesome finds like "A Ziplock full of 444 Marlin for $40 (82 round to exact)" Know one in right mind is going to pay to sell that. Thanks WAguns.org you have re-kindled the spirit.

First of all I have to say III% for those that know, secondly I don't kiss n tell, on to the Mosan 91/30 round receiver got it from a collector that shoots matches he was shooting 1" at 100 yards with iron sights he said he had to many and was down to 20 he shot matches with and he said he had others that shot better. The rifling looks like its brand new, add slack spring from C&R Surplus along with new high strength firing pin spring SS, next Huber trigger now add 1 each Boyd's custom Thumb hole Royal Jacarda stock, bedding pillars cut barrel add 1 TAPCO AK0668 Extended Muzzle break next will add Accumount PE scope mount for 1" tube, almost forgot Max Sheppard custom bolt and polished if anyone wants links I can provide them, currently I have the trigger adjusted down to 2 3/4 pound pull, She's nothing like my old M21 but she's my girl friend my wife will allow..PS my wife was a Medic in the Army also I was Regimented to 1/16th Iron Rangers which has since been retired then reactivated lol. For my fellow veterans (Any Service)I say invest into precious metals like lead and brass and always have a backup plan. Oh and thank you all for the welcome!

Good to see another SGNer here as well. Also, more importantly, glad to see another machinist on board as well. I work on CNC lathes mostly, Mori Seiki mult axis and live tooling are my specialty. I love what your doing with the Mosin, keep us posted!
