Welcome to WaGuns, thelastfoiter. Do you know the screen name of the friend who pointed you to us? thelastfoiter wrote: I've just started shooting in the last year.... Excellent. We like newbs. What kind of gun(s) have you shot? Do you own any? Got anything that you want to try out, either a type of shooting or a type of gun?

There'd be a really nice place in Snohomish County if the County Council would stop "stroking each other's Johnsons". They've been promising a "World Class Shooting Center" in the Sultan basin for 25 years now. Have the land but keep spending the money on other pet projects. I'd like two days with a dozer loaned from the County on that new piece of property. There'd be a new range with less bullshit than what we are going through now.

I have a Mosin 91/30, a "sporter" Arisaka I'm restoring as best I can, and a Remington 1100.
The mosin being my first gun, I made some changes to it that make it a more desirable gun for me to shoot. (It came out really nice and close to original - PU mount but with 1" rings for modern glass, bent bolt etc... STILL trying to get hands on a scope)
But I have no interest in butchering collectibles or guns with history. (Mosin never saw combat)
Anyways it would be great if there were some good locations for shooting. Family just goes out to Florence to shoot.
