I just got my first gun, the Glock 17 gen 4 in the photo and recently my CPL. Plan to take a women's pistol class at Cascade Shooting range but couldn't get in until June. I have looked at this site before per links from MadPick but decided to join as it looks like a good resource for more information.

I'm glad you decided to join us Tera. Maybe Denise can join you at the Women's class.

Welcome!
How did you hear about WaGuns? If you have any questions about wet tumbling or how the site works, I think we can find someone in your area who could share some ideas.

Welcome to WaGuns, Tera! For those who don't know, Tera is my girlfriend . . . so she has heard an awful lot about WaGuns over the years, but she just recently decided to join, after buying her first gun which is the G17 in her avatar. Once she decided to buy that Glock, I've never seen anyone learn so much so quickly. I went upstairs for a while to reload, and when I came back down she had watched about a million YouTube videos and she was rattling off all of the differences between the Gen 3 and Gen 4 Glocks, and the G19 vs. G17, etc. Pretty impressive learning curve. That G17 is pretty nice. It has night sights, and unfortunately they were just a little off. We adjusted the sights, and now she needs to get it back out to the range to check them out again.
