Outstanding. We now have a statewide forum.
I'm Gray Peterson, one of the speakers at the 2A Rally today.
I am:
[*]One of the plaintiffs in
Chan v. City of Seattle, the Seattle Parks Gun Ban case, which was just heard in the appellate court this week.
[*]The sole plaintiff in
Peterson v. Garcia, a case currently in the United States Court of Appeals for the 10th Circuit. This is a "2A bear outside of home" case as well as a right to travel case.
[*]I'm also one of the primary founders of the modern open carry movement in Washington State. Training advisories were done to law enforcement agencies in the Seattle area, which spread throughout the state in various fashions, and finally to the Criminal Justice Training Center (the cop training facility in Washington State). Numerous others followed my path to get some of the more resistant law enforcement agencies in line, and still many others followed my method in California, Michigan, and Pennsylvania.
[*]Engaged in supporting the
CalGuns Foundation on their Carry Licensing Compliance and Education Initiative, which seeks to educate and/or mandate the sheriff's follow state law for issuing carry licenses, including complying with fee requirements.
[*]Offering volunteer legal research support services to 2nd amendment legal groups (CalGuns Foundation, SAF, Comm2A to name a few).
Hope to make a home here.
