Hello all - Just started getting into shooting as a hobby; in process of getting my family familiar with the safety aspects and some range time in. I tend to read a lot and ask a million questions to get as much info locked in my grey matter before I get involved in anything, heck had our CPL applications in and CPR/First Aid Certification before we went to the range and classes.
I've been lucky enough to have met the right people so far who have had the time and patience to entertain my questions (grew up and moved out without ever touching a firearm). Subsequently I am starting at ground zero as far as knowledge base, so while researching I stumbled on this group/forum by pure accident and everyone seems to present themselves incredibly well, or can fake it really well.  Looking forward to gleaning some information from y'all, since I work in an area where any interest in guns/shooting would be met with stink eyes and fear toots. |

There are many instructors, ranges, and very experienced shooters here to ping with questions. Welcome. Best thing you can do is take classes (reading can only get you so far) and be sure to vote pro 2A to keep our treasured hobby alive.

More of a Pink Floyd reference with Thought_Control being taken on some forum years ago, so I had to improvise spelling. I guess now THOT means something totally different so it gets a completely new meaning... One day I should change it, but it's funny when people get pissed assuming I mean Hoe_Control. |
