Hello from Shoreline. 36 y/o lived in the Seattle area for around 11 years. I'm mainly into handguns, but enjoy ARs, Shotguns and other recreational shooting activities. I'm excited to be here.

I recently picked up a Glock 43 that fast turned into my EDC weapon. I also have a Sig P250 in 9mm. I long for a Kimber Carry size .45... I owned a Pro Carry HD II long ago, unfortunately I had to sell it in a time of need. I have also owned a few different Glocks, a Sig P232, a Kahr P9 and a few others. -AJ

Great to have you here AJ! How did you find us? Thanks for the warm welcome. I found this site a few weeks go searching for viable places to shoot on public land. The range map here is an incredible resource, and I'm happy to have found it. I visited the Capitol Forest honeyhole #7 shortly thereafter while visiting friends in Elma.

Hola AJ. Check the events section. We will be having a group shoot north of you in a while. Be a good chance to meet some members and get familiar with another of the outdoor shooting areas.

I've never been involved in a group shoot other than going out with my group of friends. Sounds like fun!

Everyone else isshotting mine and you can damn near walk down the line and have people shoving their cooles guns out foryou to shoot. Great way for people to get a chance to shoot a large variety of weapons. Not to mention meet up a ton of members, do some clean up and eat some good grub.

Well, it's a Sig. Great build quality from what I've observed. The modular design is a gimmick IMO. I'm not really a fan of DAO hammer fired pistols, but the P250 does really well in this category. I shoot well with it, and I find it very comfortable to shoot. The Subcompact mode is too big to be a subcompact, yet it lacks enough length in the grip without a grip extension, and the compact mode is a bit to bulky for my liking as well. I don't have any experience with it in full size mode. Honestly it's a great pistol for what it is, you could certainly do a lot worse. I've only had one failure to fire due to a light primer strike with Fiocchi 9mm 115gr FMJs. All other ammo I've used has been flawless. Overall it's a good entry level Sig if you want a DAO pistol. I wouldn't consider it for concealed carry or home defense, but it's a fun range gun. I would be interested in trying out the P320, but I probably wouldn't buy one as the dimensions and weight aren't a good fit for me. I will admit that I didn't purchase this gun, I happened upon it rather randomly...

All right, that's a very fair review. I despise DAO pistols, which is why I asked. I did get to shoot a P250 once, and I really disliked it even though Sigs in general are really nice pistols. I do have a P320 (.45), and I really like it.
