Yup, SWAT here too. Old style that takes the AR stocks.

Just mounted an Aimpoint on it 2 months ago and have yet to sight it in. :-W :-W :-W ...rain.....

So that muzzle brake is made for an AAC suppressor. Sig made a knock off of the AAC suppressor muzzle brake attachment (hence the threading on the outside).

Only thing is AAC does not recommend you use it for their suppressor...

That Vortex 3X is a pain in the ass, but other than that it's been a pretty fun little rifle.

No luck using the existing muzzle brake with a suppressor huh? Crap. I was hoping it was going to be a bit more simple (simpler?) adding a suppressor with that already there. Is it a common thread type that I might be able to build my own around?
