So that muzzle brake is made for an AAC suppressor. Sig made a knock off of the AAC suppressor muzzle brake attachment (hence the threading on the outside). Only thing is AAC does not recommend you use it for their suppressor... Here's my write up about it. viewtopic.php?f=41&t=422
