Howdy all. Nice to see a new place to chat, share info and meet new people. I'm a 24/7 carry kinda guy, 'cept in the shower. My wife is my best friend and she tolerates my gun stuff...she has her own guns so its great.
We moved off-grid and are building our home in the wilderness. We have 2 dogs, 2 horses and a cow so I'm learning to be a rancher. It's a big change from growing up in the city.
I used to be a liberal and have become whatever is farther right than ultra-conservartive. Some of us are late bloomers.

We have satellite access. Its really slow and makes me wish for dial-up. We have our priorities, Internet and some lights...next month a refrigerator and maybe running water.

I'd live "off the grid" in a heartbeat. Not practical for me right now. I plan on doing it one day though. In Montana.

Tonasket is very interesting. An odd mix of rednecks and hippies. I know a few people out that way. They're all shooting for an off-grid life. Sounds pretty good to me.

Went to a church meeting last night and noticed one guy open carrying. We talked a bit and soon all of the people there were talking firearms. We have a pistol packing preacher and every guy was carrying and some of the women too.
This place is like living in 1900. The hippies here have guns too; the only real difference is their choice of intoxicant.

Regarding choice of intoxicant: Legalize it, tax it. Stop wasting taxpayer money.

Yes, Yes and Yes! Of course up here that might reduce the income of about half the population.
