Names Ryan, from Whidbey Island. Anyone here from the North Puget sound? I'm always game to go shooting in the hills.

Welcome, Ryan!
Just FYI, we only have two geographic categories here at WaGuns: Olympia, and not-Olympia.
(Okay, it's a sort of inside joke.)
Welcome!

Thanks all. As for what got me into guns, I'd have to say my dad. I'm from Nebraska, and I've been hunting since i was a wee lad. My dad was pretty much anti anything that wasn't a shotgun or rifle so this just made me want a pistol more. I guess you can say it backfired on him. Out of high school I joined the Navy (Air Traffic Controller) and got some orders out to Washington. The day I turned 21 I walked into Discount Gun Sales in Everett, and ordered a HK p2000. From there, its gotten out of control. Still make it back home every year to whack some pheasants, and anything else that flies.
