Hi All! I'm a new member at WaGuns... and to forums. I FIRST started shooting three years ago and I absolutely love it! I caught the shooting competition bug when I started going to falling plate matches the week after I took a Personal Protection course at the range near my home. I shot the match every week and soon realized that I needed to reload! I bought a Dillon 650 just months after I started shooting.

I was anxious to try more and shot a Steel Challenge, a Pro-Am, Bullseye and finally felt competent enough to shoot USPSA. I started USPSA 18 months ago, which is my focus right now. I am a B class shooter in the Production division and I am getting into the habit of dryfiring this year - I really want to make A class ;) I am also shooting the occasional Action Pistol match, falling plate/speed steel, other fun steel matches (I LOVE steel!), and 3-gun. I shoot a 9mm XDm 5.25 with a PRP 2.5 lb trigger for my USPSA matches. For Steel Challenge, which I haven't shot in a year, I shoot my XDm and either my Ruger Mark III Hunter or my Ruger 10/22 carbine.

I shoot in Western WA - mostly at Marysville, Renton, Puyallup, and Federal Way.

My wish list of things to shoot in the future: More guns! Trap/Skeet/Sporting Clays. I would really like to get more comfortable and knowledgeable with rifles - so I would like to see some Precision Rifle/Practical Rifle in my future and more 3-gun this next year. I would also like to try IDPA soon - maybe I'll finally get around to it this month. And more Steel Challenge matches. And a bowling pin match sounds fun.

Oh, and I am a mother of 4 :) Ages 8, 8, 6, 2. And my day job is an office manager.

Have you been shooting 3-gun at FAS in Onalaska? They have a variety of rifle training courses including precision/long-range rifle and have started hosting 3 gun matches. They've had a long-standing IDPA match though have never been. Quite a drive from your neck of the woods though.

Capital City Rifle and Pistol has an annual bowling pin match in August...

Nice work with the Dillon 650 and buying a serious press right out of the gate. What's your load for 9mm?

I've only shot 3-gun at Marysville and Kitsap. I've heard of FAS but haven't been out there. A class sound like it would be fun :) It's only about an hour and a half from where I live - I usually drive 1-3 hours each way for a match, so I'm used to it ;)

Oooo bowling pin. :)

Thanks! Ya I talked to other reloaders and watched YouTube videos before deciding on a press.

Right now I'm loading 124 gr RN Rainier's with 4.0 grains Titegroup. I don't know OAL - 1.125" ? Power factor right around 128-130.

I've also loaded truncated and RN cast bullets from Missouri and Wideners, SNS coated, Xtreme, and Montana Gold. I have some Leatherhead I haven't tried yet. I've gone through about 5,000 Rainier. The only other powder I've tried is VV's N320 - which I like the feel of.

I'd like to load .223 in the future. I bought dies and the quick change setup for it but haven't bought components for it.

Nice. The rifle calibers add to the complexity . . . don't forget the trimmer and the swager!

Hehe. Hey a familiar name ;) I have shot Limited with it for a few outlaw matches, but my mags only hold 19, always seems a few short.
