My buddy had his F250 truck broken into this evening at the Tumwater Valley Golf Course. We had a tee time at 4:00. Jerk off did a screw driver into the lock and yanked the handle off. Nothing else was taken, just the gun. The gun that was taken was a Stainless Steel Taurus Judge. 6inch barrel. Shoots 44 mag and 410. Tumwater PD has been notified and took a statement. Unfortunately he acquired the gun in a trade and recently moved so he doesn't know if he has the serial number or if it accidentally got tossed in the move. If you see any up for sale or trade let me know. He knows it's a long shot, but it's worth a shot.

Thanks

That sucks! I was planning on heading there this evening to hit balls. When I do play, I usually put it in my bag.

Why left in the vehicle? My golf bag has plenty of pockets to carry a gun. 45 LC not 44 mag BTW.

The guy normally doesn't pack in the truck like that, and just got back from camping and forgot it was there amongst all the unpacking he was doing. Beating the guy up isn't going to do any good. There were no indications from the outside that he had a gun in the truck to begin with. I think the guy who broke in was looking for a quick score and got lucky. He's just hoping to get it back so it isn't on the street, and back in his possession.
