My father in law just got a kmg. So over built, it's awesome.

I moved recently and haven't got set up since. I have been itching to make something though. Probably be right after Christmas. I'm thinking about a small edc type blade in 1/8" O1. Maybe moose antler handle.

New knife. 1/8" O1 steel. 3-3/4" blade length.

That looks good. I just cut a piece of leaf spring for my 12 year old to Star his first knife build. I was thinking about a belt grinder. Have you heard of these guys?

They sell a grinder with motor for $729 and they are in Oregon.

It's weird they are now Origin Blade Maker... they used to be Oregon Blade Maker and sell on EBay. I've read pretty good things about the Oregon branded stuff, but it seems if you are looking for a bigger motor with variable speed you start creeping into the territory of other brands like Pheer and Ameribrade and it's usually suggested to save a little more and go with the other brands. I've been searching and saving a bunch and will probably go with the Ameribrade when it's time...

Jeremy Schmidt made a 2"x72" belt grinder that would be ideal. The quality of the build is very high.

The playlist shows his progress in making it more versatile after already making the best belt grinder on YouTube University.
