I felt it go down my shirt and burn the hell out of my back, and thanks to a certain member here for correcting my muzzle discipline while my back was singeing. You finally found that brass eh? Honestly surprised it went that far. That 10mm SBR was fun to shoot, thanks for the opportunity. Ric Oh man I was sure hoping to shoot that thing when you get some ideas on my build. Oh well next time.

The large one came down in the afternoon, but that wasn't unexpected . . . it has been barely hanging on by shredded fire hose for the last few years. The plate itself was fine, just lying on the ground after the hose gave way. The small plate and the stand were all good except for a few bullet holes in the legs, but that's why I use cheap conduit for legs.

I did not offer my boys $10 if they could shoot the legs off that stand! To the best of my recollection.

That was a great time - thanks to everyone who made it happen and showed up. Guns were a blast and the food was good, but the company was even better. Well, except my guns - nothing but challenges today...but I had fun shooting everyone else's!

Good food. Good guns. Great people. WaGuns. It's for you.
Did someone(s) get the AR parts in the clear tub that was on the Free Shtuffs table? I forgot to check before I left.

Looks like it was a blast as usual. Had hoped to at least shoot some rimfires in my backyard out of solidarity, but ended up getting my snow plow operational instead. Then blew the rest of the daylight watching my Huskies lose :(
On the plus side, I didn't bleed out of my face from a ricochet like 2 years ago at the NYDS, so I got that going for me.

The small plate and the stand were all good except for a few bullet holes in the legs, but that's why I use cheap conduit for legs. The panel held up pretty well. I was tapping it with 190 gr solid copper rounds @ 2950 fps and don't believe any actually went through, but if it'd been a rigid mount, a wall, I do not doubt I could have gotten though with a full mag or two. After about 10 rounds into it, it was pretty much peeled apart and blowing out crap at each shot. I have a feeling that with a steel insert or penetration rounds, no more than 5 rounds to get through. Makes me wish I'd just pulled all good bullets I had that we used in the 300 many years ago in the service, would go thru a few inches of plate, but shot them all up to get the brass for hunting rounds making a hole in a rock face, had a couple hundred....
