I got... Attachment: striped_skunk_1.jpg I hate hunting on public land! Perhaps 'Late season' will be better. Bill

That's too bad. Anyone else? The General Deer season wrapped up tonight, any late entrants?

I bailed on opening wknd due to weather forecasters end of world prediction.. So went out on second wknd, ran into Elk at every spot we looked for deer. Of course don't want to pollute the areas prior to Elk opener this coming wknd, so would back out of the areas quickly. By Sunday morning of elk at every single area trying deer, decided to bag deer an chase grouse road hunting instead, scored a couple.

I shot this one last friday. Decent size body, should fill my freezer nicely. All the practice at long range shooting and this guy popped up at 50 feet away, near sundown while I was making my way back to my truck. It dropped on the old service road I was walking out on, 20 feet from me. Solo hunt, so no pictures with me in it.
