There is no need to petition. The hogs have been declared an invasive species so they can be hunted in any place that hunting is allowed.

Reviving this thread a bit. Just learned about the master hunter program. Those who are master hunters, would they be allowed to hunt hogs?

Also, hartcreek, wouldn't we need permits to hunt hogs even if they are invasive? What if wdfw refuses to issue those permits?

They are like diseases that don't have a cure. Would be fun to hunt them,but once they bunker in you will never get rid of them.
