It certainly sucks to pay a lot for crappy food. As I'm trying to figure out the good restaurants in Spokane I'm running into this quite a bit. A couple weeks ago I spent $14 for pad thai that was pretty much just noodles, peanut sauce, and meat. No veggies, no lime on the side, no extra nuthin'. Earlier this summer, went to a Chinese buffet that was in desperate need of a flystrip or twelve and had about 6 dishes to choose from. Call me lao wai but I want 50 selections, a giant vat of shrimp and another of crab legs, etc.
